- Within one year the USA recycles enough copper to build 26,000 Statues of Liberty.
- If all of the aluminum recycled in the United States was used to produce beverage cans, we could stack them on top of one another and that would stretch to over 25 million miles, the distance from the earth to Venus.
- A used aluminum can is recycled and back on the shelf in as little as 60 days.
- CO2 emissions are reduced by 60%.
- Recycling one car saves more than 2500 lbs of iron ore, 1400 lbs of coal and 120 lbs of limestone (over 14 to 16 million cars and trucks are recycled each year).
